What a great way to mark the end of the school year. A soccer Marathon, games & ice cream on a sunny day at Bishopstown GAA!

Spring has sprung!

During the month of February we explored the topic of houses & homes. 
We constructed  houses out of Lego, made arts & craft houses, and took on the job of construction workers at our role play area.

We made some New Year promises to be kind, work hard & have fun !!

Here’s our beautiful writing for the month of January…

Our Aistear theme for the month of January covered the Polar regions. We really enjoyed learning new things about The Arctic & Antarctica.
We were very surprised to find out that Antarctica is actually a desert & is the only continent on the planet where no one lives permanently as it’s far too cold!!!

We learned all about these amazing flightless birds in the month of January & painted some beautiful Polar Penguins floating in the Antarctic!

Collectively we are still enduring many challenges … but this great bunch always remain positive & full of fun!

Well done boys!

We were busy making lots of lovely art in our class during the month of December. 
We worked together to make a ‘collaborative’ Christmas tree for our front door. We made Christmas snow globes to hang from our trees at home & we also made our own mini trees & Rudolph’s !

As part of Aistear in December we discussed all things healthy! We made a healthy lunch box, and a healthy dinner plate. We constructed healthy restaurants, and at our role play area we paid a trip to the Healthy Cafe!
