A big thank you to the Parents Association for sending an ice cream van to school! The ice cream was so yummy!  Such a great treat!

Congratulations to our May Boy of the Month. Well done to Michael on an excellent month of hard work, fantastic behaviour and kindness to others! Great job Michael!

We loved going to GAA on Friday! We went for four weeks and leaned some cool new skills and had lots of fun! And, we even got to ride a double-decker bus! On our last day we got a certificate and some jellies! Thank you Bishopstown GAA! 

We won the Golden Boot! We are over the moon! Thank you to all our families who helped us come to school in a green way!

We had a great day at our school tour! We went to the Mardyke Arena at UCC. We sang songs on the bus, ate all of our treats and loved all the activities we got to do! We played basketball, parachute games, bowling, had a bouncy castle and lots more! Have a look at some of our pictures!   

We loved learning all about mini-beasts in class! Our favourite fact was that mini-beasts do not have a skeleton! How cool is that! We decided to build a Bug Hotel for our mini-beasts! We made it out of recycled materials and found a great spot for it behind the yard. We hope our mini-beasts like it!! 

We had a great visit from art teacher Ms.Ryan who taught us all about how to use mixed media in our art work. We used water colours,oil pastels, chalk, pencils and markers! We had so much fun! 

Congratulations to our April Boy of the Month. Well done to Jamie on an excellent month of hard work, fantastic behaviour and kindness to others! Great job Jamie!

A big Happy Easter from everyone in Senior Infants!

Congratulations Teddy on winning the CIT Art Competition! Teddy won an Easons gift card and an art lesson for the whole class!! Well done Teddy!! 

Big congratulations to Teddy, Billy and Aaron who won an Easter Egg in the Easter Raffle! Yummy!!! 

We put our gardening skills to test this week when we planted some grass!! We made a list of what we would need, went outside to plant and will write all about it after Easter break! We can't wait to see how much our grass has grown when we get back! 

 This week we have been learning all about the percussion instrument family. We had the chance to play our own instruments and make a class jingle! It was super fun!!

We had a very special performance from Ireland's Got Talent Finalists 'Rebel Acro'

We were all blown away by their routine and wish them the very best of luck!!! Rebels Abú!!

We love building new things during play time!! And we love to have our picture taken!!

Comhghairdeas le Billy, Jamie agus Jack! Maith sibh!!

Yesterday, we got out of the classroom for a little while and went on our March Walkabout! We were looking out for signs of Spring. We spotted some daffodils, tulips, blossoms, dandelion, buds and even a tractor!! We had so much fun!!

We really enjoyed celebrating St. Patrick's Day at school! We wore green to school, decorated our classroom, made St. Patrick's day cards and designed a shamrock! Take a look!! 

Mr. Cuthbert came to visit us last week and was very impressed with all our hard work! Mr. Cutbert then showed us some of his favourite magic tricks!! We thought they were super cool tricks and had lots of fun!! 

To celebrate Seachtain na Gaeilge, we performed two songs on stage in the halla! We sang 'Teidí Beag Álainn' and 'Lá le Pádraig'

We looked and sounded great! We had lots of fun!! 

We were very excited to enter a CIT Art Competition this year! We did our best colouring and enjoyed taking part!
