We had a great time eating ice-cream and doing different activities today up at the GAA π

Today we learned how to make the perfect paper planes and we tested how far they would fly in the yard π

Today we said goodbye to this boy and we wish him all the best in his new school. We will miss him very much!
2nd class are learning about the sun and shadows so today we took advantage of the good weather and drew our shadows in the yard! π
The boys have been learning about the life cycle of a butterfly so for art this week they created their own butterflies. They turned out great! π
We have been having a great time the last few weeks playing football down at Bishopstown GAA π
The boys spent the last two weeks using clay to make these tiles with their initials on them. Weβre really happy with how they turned out π
This week we made rainbow fish by painting paper plates and cutting coloured paper to make the scales π
The boys had great fun playing new maths games this week π² While on the topic of 3D shapes, the boys made their own cubes using marshmallows for the corners and sticks for the edges π
Our class have been busy creating these amazing spring flower art pieces the past two weeks. The boys all drew their own unique flowers and vases which they later painted and coloured using oil pastels. To create the pattern on the background the boys used paint, sponges and cardboard. We are all really happy with the finished result π
