Report Writing:
This term we are busy learning about report writing. We worked on group reports before choosing our own individual topics. The children planned out their reports, used their iPads to gather research and then typed them up. They also presented them to the class.
Science & Art Integration:
We were busy learning all about our bones and muscles in science class. We then decided to create a skeleton whilst also recalling the names of the bones in our body. This artwork also tied in with our Halloween theme. 🎃

We had a busy September in second class. Here is just a snippet of what we did.
We had Roald Dahl Day where we learned about his life and all his achievement.
We also had Dot Day, we used the book The Dot as inspiration before we created our artwork - make your dot and see where it takes you.
In SESE, we learned about where we come from and about the people in our community who help us. The children created lovely street maps of Dunmore.
In art, we created a back to school Schoolbag Monster which we really enjoyed :)
We have also started our autumn theme. The children have brought in lovely bits for our nature table which inspired us to created some autumn trees.
