Children must be at least 4 years old by the 1st September the year they start in Junior Infants, e.g. children must be four by 01/09/2022 in order to start school in 2022/2023 school year.

In the event that the school is oversubscribed, Junior Infants must reach 4 years of age on or before 31st May of the school year concerned.
