Aladdin Schools Accessibility Statement
Aladdin is committed to providing a digital experience that adheres to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 AA standards. Our goal is to make our software accessible to all, including individuals with disabilities. We strive to ensure that our products and apps are user-friendly, adhere to accessibility standards, and promote an inclusive environment for all users.
Current Compliance Status
As of the current date, Aladdin Schools is partially compliant with WCAG AA accessibility guidelines. We are aware of the issues and limitations, and we understand the importance of addressing these concerns promptly to ensure that our software is accessible to everyone, regardless of ability.
Our Commitment
We are actively working towards making our software fully compliant with WCAG AA accessibility guidelines. This commitment extends across our web application, mobile apps, and our online resources to create an inclusive and seamless experience for users of all abilities.
Current Accessibility Limitations
The content listed below is currently non-accessible. However, we are working on the content below to ensure that they meet accessibility guidelines.
- Keyboard/Screen reader navigation is not yet accessible for all parts of the product.
- Images – All images may not have alt text. Some images may have alt text which is insufficiently or incorrectly described or may be missing. This may hinder the use of assistive technology in understanding some content within the product.
- Tables – Some tables do not have correctly defined headers. This makes it harder for people using screen readers or voice recognition software to read content on the site.
- Links – we are working to remove “click here”, “read more”, and any other links that do not give context. We will use a unique name when possible or an aria label.
- PDFs – We are working to ensure that our PDF documents are accessible. Some PDFs may have incomplete document properties sections, missing alt text, elements that are not tagged, and elements that are not nested.
- Videos – We are working to ensure that videos are accessible. Issues that may be found, include but are not limited to, incorrect or missing captions/subtitles on videos, missing transcripts, and a lack or the unavailability of description for visual information on the video.
- Labels – Missing form labels in the product, which may hinder the use of screen readers on the website.
- Headings – Headings may not be identified using appropriate markup.
This is not an exhaustive list of non-accessible content in our product. We are committed to continually improving the experience for everyone by addressing the issues and applying the relevant standards to our product.
